This Obama approval rating poll is unique because it takes the Obama approval rating from several sources and averages them to get sort of a super Obama approval rating. This averaging of Obama approval ratings helps to tamper down any biases that may exist in any one poll.


The Obama approval rating is tracked by many different polls.  Gallup and Rassmussen are considered by many to be the most accurate and both poll daily and then run their daily Obama approval rating as an average of the last three days.  Here is a list of web sites that track the Obama approval rating in alphabetical order.

Election 2012There are many factors that drive President Obama’s Approval.  Some will simply think he is a nice guy or a family man and just like him.  Some will like or dislike him because he is the first black president and do not consider his performance.  Some will like or dislike him because he is a Democrat, Liberal, or a Progressive and may or may not consider his performance.  Some will consider portions of the above and consider his performance.  Other will consider only his performance.  In this age of American idol, busy life styles, and alternative forms of information it is interesting how much of a role the mainstream media has in shaping our Presidents Approval rating.  Is our media more interested in reporting facts or shaping opinion?  How much does the internet affect the public’s opinion of Obama?  Is America more interested in a “rock star” or a leader and how much of each role does our President play?

Obama is one cool President!

Clearly Obama is one cool President. No one can ague that.  One of the main reasons he was elected was because of his celebrity power.  But performing as a celebrity and performing as the President of the United States of American are to very different things.  As a celebrity Obama put on a show, but that show never translated into to responsibility, management, leadership, trust.  Obama has broken trust with the American people.  It is not cool to be played for a fool.  If you believed in “Hope and Change” you got fooled.  Vote for someone who has a proven record of performance not someone who’s only been able to tinker with the community.

Obama and general electricGE Filed 57,000 page tax return and pad no taxes on $14 Billion in profits.  According to the Weekly Standers, The return if printed would be 19 feet high!  This clearly points to the irrationality of our corporate income tax code. Our corporate income tax code doesn’t make sense. Just take a look at UPS and DHL.  “UPS paid a 34 percent effective tax rate,” while its biggest foreign competitor, DHL, paid a 24 percent tax rate.  We need to reform our tax code!  Flat tax, 999, something!

The primary reason our tax code is so screwed up is because  both Republicans and Democrats sit in Congress picking winners and losers.  Often politicians have a lot of rhetoric about whats fare or pulling your fare share and such.  Lets top with the talk and have some action.  Lets start with a fare playing field!  The solution is to get rid of all those loopholes and then lower tax rates way down so America can compete.  It is only common sense.  America is all tied up with Government red tape.  We need to cut the crap, lower the taxes on business, and get back to work.  The economy of Communist China is more free than that of the United States of America.  Progressivism is an oxymoron, stop voting for it and run it out of both parties.

There is an old saying “history repeats itself”.  And just as African blacks, so long ago, sold blacks into slavery; Obama has done the same for minorities in the US.

The Obama Presidency is drawing to an end.  Look around and you find more people dependent on the government than ever.  One in six Americans are now in poverty, food stamp dependency has shot through the roof, and the unemployment rate is unbearable.  All these facts lean disproportionately on minorities. A generation of black youths will grow up without the benefits of knowing what it is like to have a job.  Hope and change meant something much different to President Obama than it did for those who voted overwhelmingly for him.

Yes the Democrats are very good at treating the symptoms of poverty.  Vote for them and they will find ways to throw a little money your way.  But that’s like the doctor giving you a cough drop when you have bronchitis.  We need a philosophy that can do more than treat symptoms.  We need to break the cycle of poverty.   Obama’s progressivism has buried this country in debt.  There is a famous verse in the Bible “The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower becomes the lender’s slave” (Proverbs 22:7).  So, with Obama grabbing $5,000,000,000,000.00 in new debt, where does that leave us? Listen to the very rhetoric of the Obama campaign as they struggle during this coming election process.  The Democrats will try and divide America by Class, Gender, and Race.  Then promise this to one group and that to another.  A divide and concur then buy votes strategy.

America needs to move towards a classless society; a society where you are judged by the content of your character not the color of your skin.  Americans deserve the opportunity to work hard and have the possibility to move from poor to rich. Not punish the rich for being successful. True Conservatism believes that when a person falls on bad times there should be a safety net, but that net should then lift people up out of poverty.  Democrats have turned that net into trap, a way of life, an endless pool of voters. Karl Marx , a man admired by many Democrats, once said:  “Catch a man a fish, and you can sell it to him. Teach a man to fish, and you ruin a wonderful business opportunity.”  If you want to keep selling your votes for fish vote Democrat or you could vote for the party that ended slavery.

This is the real story as to why Bush was so bad at the end of his term.  Please read carefully.  If you doubt the fact please do investigate for yourself.

Most believe that the day the Democrats took over control of our government was January 22nd 2009 when President Obama took office.  This is factually not true and extremely misleading.  The true date is actually January 3rd 2007.  This is the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, the start of the 110th Congress.  This was the first time that the Democrat Party controlled both chambers of Congress since end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

Why is this difference extremely important to understand?  Well let’s take a look at the difference political philosophies can have.

On January 3rd, 2007 the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress we had the following:

  • The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
  • The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
  • The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
  • Our Economic policies set a record of 52 straight months of job growth!!

On January 3rd, 2007 when the Democrats took control of Congress, Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee.  The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later started in what part of the economy?  BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!  The Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac fiascoes dumped 5-6 TRILLION dollars of toxic loans on the economy.  President Bush is on record asking Congress seventeen times to stop Fannie & Freddie.  The Democrats fought fiercely against reforming Fannie and Freddie.  Interestingly Barney Frank and his boyfriend, a Fannie Mae executive, profited hugely off of Fannie as well as the Democrat party through campaign donations.

Understand also that Federal budgets do not come from the White House they come from Congress.  The party that has controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party.  This means that the Democrats have controlled the budget process for 2008, 2009 as well as 2010, 2011, and 2012.

In that first year the Democrats had to contend with George Bush as he was still President and Presidents have to approve the budget.  This caused them to compromise on spending.  In 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely by passing continuing resolutions to keep the government spending until Barack Obama could take office.   The Democrats then passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budget.  Where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.  Our Government has now been without a budget for three years!  Harry Reid, the Democrat leader in the Senate, recently announced that there will not be a budget till after the next Presidential election!

The Democrats did inherit a deficit though.  It was the 2007 deficit that came with the last Republican budget. That deficit was the lowest in five years and had the fourth straight decline in deficit spending.

For those who are listening to the Liberals that promote the fallacy that everything is “Bush’s Fault”, think about this:

  • JANUARY 3rd, 2007 is the day the Democrats took over
  • The Democrats including Obama repeatedly fought against reforming Fannie and Freddie
  • OBAMA took the third highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac
  • By the end of Obama’s Presidency our Government will have gone without a budget for four years
  • Our National debt has increased by over $4.7 trillion during Obama’s first three years in office!!!!

So the real story as to why Bush was so bad at the end of his term is because our Government was changing political philosophies.  From a moderate conservative to far left.  This means that if Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.  Obama inherited a deficit that he both voted for and then he purposefully expanded four-fold.  Obama’s political philosophy is very big Government and a big Government requires very big spending.  Now that many people are starting to understand just what Obama meant by “change you can believe in” they are no longer believers.  There may just be a backlash for what the Democrats have done.  If so this next election might give us an opportunity to see what a true conservative government looks like.

Lack of racial diversity at Obama campaign headquarters comes at a time when the national black unemployment rate is nearly double the rate for whites.  What happened to Obama helping to heal the nation and bringing us together?  Fact is Democrats stir up racial, class, sex, and religious division for the purposes of political gain.  True conservatism does not filter the world through these prisms, but on content of character and performance.  Liberty and freedom are gifts from God not something to be manipulated by government.

In August 2011, Obama signed an executive order requiring federal agencies to develop plans for improving workforce diversity.

 

The apparent lack of racial diversity at the Obama campaign headquarters comes at a time when the national black unemployment rate is nearly double the rate for whites.  According to the most recent report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), 14 percent of blacks are currently unemployed, compared with 7.3 percent of whites.  The divide is even more pronounced among younger age groups. According to BLS data, the black unemployment rate among 16- to 19-year-olds is 40.5 percent, compared with 22.5 percent for whites.  In Illinois, the black unemployment rate—as high as 28 percent, according to the Illinois Department of Employment Security—far exceeds the national average.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has come under fire from African-American groups in recent years alleging that the party organization has failed to award contracts to black-owned business despite repeated pledges to advance the interests such firms.

The Liberals are pulling a fast one with this whole Sandra Fluke and Rush Limbaugh “scandal”. Yes Rush may have been a little abrasive by implying that Ms. Fluke is a prostitute and a slut because she in essence wants someone to pay her to have sex and she is having so much sex that her contraceptives would cost her $3,000 a year. But you have to ask what is really going on here? Several famous Liberals have openly used the terms slut and c_nt in reference to Sarah Palin and other conservative women. Why is it such a big deal now?

To answer the question you have to go back to the root of what started this national discussion. It was Obama trampling on the freedom of religion. You see this is nothing but a shell game effectively employed to take the fact that Obama is trampling on the 1st amendment of the constitution and turn it into oh this poor girl cant go to school because she can’t afford birth control. Which is absolutely preposterous.

Birth Control at Wal-Mart is $9 a month. How she was able testify before congress that it cost $3,000 a year no one has been able to explain. Is it fare that she chose to go to a Catholic school and then wants to force them to go against their religious beliefs and pay for her contraceptive? What about the rights of the Catholic school? And a final clue that this is nothing but a shell game is that Obama himself would take the time to call Ms Fluke to make sure she was “alright”.

History Deserved Better

If you think about it Obama is half black, half white, half Christian, half muslim, and culturally half American, and half European.  When he was running for office he tried to be everyman.  Hope and change sounds nice, but do they really mean anything? Did his administration represent this meaning? What has Obama accomplished?  Obamacare?  … golf?  The only endearing thing about him is his role as a father and that he has proven to the world that progressivism doesn’t work.  History will show that it truly is a shame that he received the label as being  the first black President.  Because history deserved so much better.
